About Me

I am a Mathematician based in Pittsburgh, PA with a PhD from the University of Minnesota and a strong Computer Science background. Since 2009 I have worked at Adventium labs as a research scientist on Model Based Systems Engineering, computer security, and planning problems. My mathematical research is in the field of geometric combinatorics and I am generally interested in computation and data intensive problems in science and engineering. I am a 2018-2019 SIAM science policy fellow.

I grew up in Saint Paul, MN and went to Michigan Tech for college where I studied abroad at Penn State and in Moscow. In my free time I enjoy running and cross-country skiing, particularly the very ultra distance events such as Superior (The picture on the right is mile 45 of my first 100 mile race).
